Legislative Processes and Lobbying

Clarity of purpose:

The Reform Party believes the obvious corruption caused by having the legislative process influenced by lobbying moneys and promises of services, goods, or future employment must be ended.

Single subject bills with riders and amendments directly relating to the core purpose of a proposed bill must also become a requirement of the legislative branch to ensure fiscal responsibility and keep clear the purpose of the laws being passed.

Finally, bills passed into law that are still active need to be periodically and routinely reviewed for: efficacy, need in our modern society, and of value to the voter while also being viewed in the full light of the constitution.
