The Reform Party is proud to endorse Leif Carter for Pike County, Illinois County Board. Leif Carter is an active Reform Party member and joined the party after learning about it during the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. movement. He left the Democratic Party in the middle of his campaign.
“Leif Carter is a competent candidate, and we are proud to have him,” said Reform Party Vice Chairman of Communications Sam Gibbons. “We are glad to have enthusiastic young people in our party”.
“Leif Carter is one of five candidates in a pick five race,” said Leif Carter’s campaign manager and Reform Party Chairman Nicholas Hensley, “so he’s going to win. It will be awesome to win a seventh office in a four year period. Our main goal right now is to use Leif’s campaign to spread the Reform Party’s message”.
Leif Carter is a moderate, centrist candidate running to do what is best for his constituency. While other counties in Illinois have grown in terms of wages and wealth, Pike County Illinois has been left behind. There are 102 counties in Illinois and Pike County is in the bottom 20 when it comes to income and poverty rates.
“Our county government needs to do better when it comes to developing the local economy,” said Leif Carter. “There are many opportunities that the county officials have ignored”.
Lief Carter will be on the ballot for Pike County Board on November 5th.
