Michelle Lewis is running as a Reform Party endorsed, write-in candidate in the North Carolina Senate race. In her bid to replace retiring Senator Richard Burr, Michelle Lewis is running on comprehensive justice reform, creating economic opportunities for rural communities, and fully funding our public education system. She secured the Reform Party of North Carolina’s endorsement through her experience and exceptional character.
Michelle is a native of North Carolina. Her father was a career army veteran. She graduated from Manteo High School in Dare County before enrolling in the undergraduate program at Elizabeth City University. While obtaining her undergraduate, she joined the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
Michelle Lewis left the state temporarily to receive a master’s of divinity at Yale University, a second master’s degree from Regent University and a doctorate from Emory University in Atlanta.
Ms. Lewis worked as a law enforcement officer for the National Forest Service before she joined her post graduate program. After gaining her doctorate degree, Ms. Lewis was ordained as a United Methodist Minister at the New York Annual Conference and is a full elder. She also served time as an advisor to Micronesia on environment issues and a delegate to Saudi Arabia to discuss Christian-Muslim relations.
As the next Senator from North Carolina, Michelle Lewis will fight for ethical policies that put The People and our nation first. The Reform Party is proud to support Michelle Lewis as our candidate, and ask the voters to write in “Michelle Lewis” for US Senate.
