Reform Party Members,
Once again the Reform Party of the United States will field a contender for the Presidency. Through the efforts of party organizers, and the campaign staffers of our candidate, we currently have approximately twenty five ballot lines for the general election. Realistically, by election day, we have a chance at ballot access in forty two states.
For the first time in sixteen years, the Reform Party has stepped out of the wilderness and onto the national stage. With our new found strength, we must not sell out the old principles that guided us this far. Chosen by the delegates of the first convention in 1995, our mission statement still stands as the embodiment of our principles. Twenty one years later we still proudly stand behind our mission, and allow the principles of the past to guide us towards the future.
“We, the members of the Reform Party, commit ourselves to reform our political system. Together we will work to re-establish trust in our government by electing ethical officials, dedicated to fiscal responsibility and political accountability.”
The Reform Party National Convention was called to Long Island, New York to select a candidate for America’s highest office. With our principles in mind and our mission clear, we set forth to find the candidate that could stand on the foundations of the past and lead us towards the future.
It is my honor to announce, that, by vote of the Reform Party National Convention, Roque De La Fuente is the Reform Party nominee for President of the United States.
Roque De La Fuente, a first generation American, was born at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California. As a lifelong entrepreneur, Roque De La Fuente brings decades of economic knowledge and business experience to the table. His understanding of international commerce is a crucial necessity for reforming America’s economy, and bringing manufacturing jobs back to the United States.
I would like to thank the delegates of the Convention for their due diligence while choosing the nominee. I would like to thank the Reform Party organizers that maintained our ballot lines through the years, and made this nomination possible. I would also like to thank those that supported us while we reorganized, and kept the organization alive. The resurgence of the Reform Party is due to all of you!
Sincerely
Nicholas Hensley
Secretary
Reform Party National Committee
