On August 8th, 1786, the United States established its monetary system and the US Dollar. As the base unit of currency, for 238 years, the United States Dollar has been the foundation to the greatest economy that has ever existed.
The United States dollar however has been losing its value and prominence in the world. Since 1913, the dollar has lost over 96 percent of its value due to inflation. Over the last five years, the dollar has lost over 20 percent of its value.
Reform Party founder Ross Perot once said “A weak currency is the sign of a weak economy, and a weak economy leads to a weak nation.”
The dollar has been weakened due to artificially low interest rates and large scale deficit spending. The more money the United States prints, the less value each individual dollar has.
The Reform Party strongly supports the end of endless deficit spending, and wishes to protect the dollar by balancing the United States budget and keeping strong monetary policy.
You can help. By donating one dollar a month to the Reform Party of the United States, you can support reforming the American monetary system and balancing the budget.
